Kridl
This project is a full-stack DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) platform built to demonstrate the core concepts of leaderless, on-chain governance. Deployed on the Mumbai testnet, it allows a group to make collective decisions without a central authority.
A full walkthrough of the platform.
Core Features
Governance Token & Proposals
The platform is powered by a custom ERC20 governance token, LAR. This token is required to participate in governance. Any user holding at least 5 LAR tokens can create a new proposal, giving the community the power to steer the DAO's direction.
Flexible Voting Systems
A DAO's strength is in its voting. This platform implements three distinct mechanisms, each with different strategic trade-offs:
1. Single Choice Voting
The most common method. Voters pick one option. Voting power is 1:1 with their LAR token balance.
2. Quadratic Voting
Allows users to spread votes across options. The vote cost is quadratic (e.g., 25 tokens = 5 votes), favoring community consensus over "whale" dominance.
3. Weighted Voting
Users can vote on multiple options, distributing their token weight to show nuanced levels of support or opposition.
